This collection of images tells a part of the story of the golden years of stock car racing. It has formal and candid portraits and action photographs of the stars and the behind the scenes people who made the day to day business of racing work.

The book contains 112 pages and over 300 images as well as stories that tell the who, what, where and when of that early era when the legends of NASCAR racing began.
